We are delighted to welcome Duncan Tomlinson to Robert Lickley Refractories Ltd as our new Head of Products & Markets.
Duncan joins us with more than three decades of hands-on experience across the refractory industry, spanning laboratory work, site operations, product management and international market development. His career has been built not just around products, but around understanding how they perform in real operating environments — and how they can be applied to solve genuine challenges for customers.
What truly sets Duncan apart is his ability to bridge technical depth with commercial reality. He has spent much of his career working directly with customers, sales teams and R&D functions, helping translate complex materials and processes into clear, practical solutions. That blend of application knowledge, market awareness and collaborative leadership makes him an excellent fit for where we are heading.
In his role at Robert Lickley Refractories, Duncan will work closely with both clients and internal teams to help shape how our products are positioned, applied and developed. He will play a key role in strengthening the connection between what we manufacture, how it is used in practice, and the evolving needs of the industries we serve — ensuring clarity, confidence and consistency at every stage.
Duncan joins us at an exciting time for the business as we continue to invest in innovation, enhance our technical capabilities and deepen long-term customer partnerships.
