HR Officer - Part Time

We are looking for a part-time HR professional to support the day-to-day people administration of the business. This role is focused on keeping processes organised, compliant, and consistent, while maintaining a practical and people-focused approach. This is a new role and we are looking for a progressive, qualified HR professional looking to join and make an impact in a progressive organisation as it continues on its successful growth and investment
You will work under the QHSE manager, providing reliable HR support without unnecessary complexity and assisting in ISO45001 compliance.
Initially this will be a 10 hour per week role with flexible working times.
Ideally 09:00 - 14:00 on Tuesday and Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Manage Employee records, contracts and HR documentation
- Supporting recruitment administration and onboarding
- Tracking holidays, sickness and absence
- Performing staff appraisals
- Acting as first point of contact on HR matters
- Liaising with external HR consultants or legal advisors where required
Must Have
- Previous experience in an HR admin or officer role
- Hands on experience in policy and contracts
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Be calm, trusted and discreet
- Be operational, not fluffy
Nice to have
- Experience working with QHSE & compliance
- CIPD qualification level 5
- Change management experience
- Experience of Odoo ERP system
