As we continue to invest in growth, quality, and sustainability, we are seeking a dedicated and compliance-focused QHSE + HR Lead to strengthen our systems and ensure excellence across ISO, HSE, and people management.

Role Overview

This is a cross-functional position, with primary responsibility for Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental compliance, and secondary support for HR administration and staff onboarding.

You will be the internal lead for our ISO 9001 (Quality)ISO 14001 (Environment), and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety)systems and audits, ensuring continuous improvement, robust data collection, and effective internal reporting. 

This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Dudley facility.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct internal audits for ISO 9001,14001 and 45001 maintaining audit schedules, reports, and corrective action tracking
  • Coordinate all external ISO audits (9001, 14001, 45001), ensuring documentation, records, and systems are audit-ready
  • Own and lead site Health & Safety compliance, including risk assessments, incident investigations, training records, and toolbox talks
  • Monitor QHSE KPIs, collate quarterly data, and produce actionable reports for leadership, including an annual Integrated Management System report
  • Oversee and maintain core HR systems, including staff records, absence logs, training trackers, and delivery of new staff inductions with a focus on ISO and HSE awareness

Must Have

  • ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Internal Auditor training (Lead Auditor certification desirable)
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent HSE qualification)
  • Demonstrable experience conducting internal ISO audits and managing corrective actions
  • Strong knowledge of QHSE systems within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Excellent organisational and reporting skills, particularly for KPI tracking and compliance documentation
  • Confident communicator, capable of leading training, inductions, and presenting to external auditors

Nice to have

  • ISO 45001 auditing experience
  • Previous exposure to HR systems (e.g. absence, training records, induction tracking)
  • Working knowledge of Odoo, or other ERP systems
  • Training in root cause analysis, lean, or continuous improvement
  • Experience delivering toolbox talks or safety briefings to mixed-skill teams
